Equipment Placements With Intelligent Icons

A custom programming interface created by our in-house software developers allows Korbel to embed spec data directly into our entire library of Revit families. Once imported, this information becomes viewable in the Revit model by clicking on the family’s properties. It becomes possible to see each item’s electrical, plumbing, weight, mechanical, data connectivity, and other imported specification data. In the screen shot below, the properties of the 26” flat panel television (TELEV42) appears on the left with the graphical model of the ICU rooms on the right.
